The Indio Water Authority was formed in 2000 to deliver water to the City of Indio. The IWA Board is the legislative and policy entity responsible to the residents of Indio for all municipal water programs and services. The Board is comprised of the five members currently elected to the Indio City Council.

Meeting Schedule
The Board meets concurrently with the City Council typically on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the City of Indio Council Chambers located at 150 Civic Center Mall, Indio, CA 92201. During the summer, meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of the month to coincide with the City Council summer schedule.
