Climate Action plan
The Climate Action Plan serves as Indio’s GHG reduction strategy. The CAP is a tool to identify the sources of emissions in the community and the steps necessary to reduce emissions. The CAP describes the community and municipal GHG emissions for baseline year 2010 and creates a path to decrease communitywide emissions through strategies and implementation actions outlined in Chapter 4. The City of Indio will use these strategies to minimize emissions across households, businesses, and government operations and facilities.
