The City of Indio is actively monitoring input from local, state and national health officials to assess the health risks of COVID-19, and update those risks to stakeholders. Riverside County Public Health provides updated information, including the latest information about coronavirus and the COVID vaccine, new recommendations about wearing a face covering, as well as the most frequently asked questions about regulations in the state and in Riverside County.
Effective June 15, 2021 all sectors in California listed in the current Blueprint Activities and Business Tiers Chart may return to usual operations, with some exceptions for "Mega Events." Information about what will change on Dec. 15, 2021, is listed on the state's Blueprint for a Safer Economy website.
City offices that closed to the public on Monday, March 30, 2020 are now open. However, many services are now available online, and appointments and use of online services are still strongly suggested.
