Steven Graham Pacifico is the City Attorney for the City of Indio and is a Partner with Cole Huber LLP. 

The City Attorney provides the following services to the City of Indio:

• Acts as Legal Advisor for the City, City Council, and all of its elected and appointed officers in all matters relating to their official powers and duties.
• Protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public through effective enforcement of City ordinances.
• Prepares or reviews for form and legal sufficiency, all contracts, bonds, and other written instruments that require City approval or signature.
• Represents the City, its elected or appointed officials, and employees in all complaints, suits, or controversies where the City, it's employees, elected or appointed officials are named as parties.

The City Attorney is appointed by the City Council and provides legal services to the City, Redevelopment Agency, Indio Water Authority and the Coachella/Indio Waste Transfer Station Authority. The firm of Cole Huber LLP, has been contracted by the City Council to provide services ranging from attending all regular City Council meetings, Planning Commission meetings, and other meetings as required. They are also responsible for preparing necessary legal documents, performing legal research and rendering legal opinions.
