Animal services for the City of Indio are provided by the Riverside County Department of Animal Services (RCDAS). RCDAS is responsible for addressing animal-related nuisance issues, picking up dead animals, licensing, vaccinating, spaying and neutering, microchipping, sheltering, adoptive servicing, and enforcing county animal policies.

Please remember that your dog will need to be vaccinated and micro chipped to be licensed. A dog license is only $17 per year for an altered dog. You may license your dog in several ways.
