“In what was a difficult transition year for DTW, we are more than pleased to accept the 60 Desert Star Award nominations for the body of work presented during the 2016/17 season. Our performers, volunteers, and creatives are humbled by our loyal audience’s enthusiastic response to our work this past season and even more appreciative with this critical acclaim. Hard work has always been crucial to our success and we will continue to pursue the standard of excellence we set for ourselves this season and many seasons to come.” – Lance Phillips-Martinez / Artistic Director, Desert Theatreworks
