The Human Resources Department coordinates services and programs for the City of Indio which include recruitment; testing and placement; classification and compensation; employment processing; benefit and retirement administration; employee relations; labor contract negotiation and administration; risk management; workers' compensation administration; training and organizational development; employee assistance and employee recognition programs; personnel records maintenance; policy and procedure development and interpretation; and Information Technology Administration.
