SunLine Transit Agency to Implement Service Changes Beginning May 6th

On Sunday, May 6th, SunLine Transit Agency is implementing positive changes to the fixed route system to offer better connections, improved service frequency to popular destinations and a more effective schedule to improve system performance.

The following service will be changed or modified:

•Lines 14, 24 and 90: These lines will receive a minor schedule change on weekdays to provide a more effective schedule and improve connections.

•Line 111: SunLine’s busiest line will receive a minor schedule change on weekdays and weekends to provide a more effective schedule and improve system performance.

• Line 80: This line will offer improved frequency from 60-minutes to 30-minutes on weekdays; and the route will be realigned to provide closer service to the Walmart Center on the southwest corner of Monroe Street at Avenue 42 on weekdays and weekends to offer more service frequency to this high-traffic destination.

•Line 91: This line will add 4 westbound trips from Hwy 111/Flower to 5th/Vine and 4 eastbound trips from 5th/Vine and Hwy 111/Flower on weekdays to improve connectivity.
