City Treasurer Vacancy

The City of Indio is accepting applications to fill the unexpired term of the elected position of City Treasurer through November 2018.

The duties and responsibilities of the City Treasurer are as follows:

Reviews and interprets financial reports and statements. Ensures city monies are properly accounted and used under the City’s investment and financial policies. The City Treasurer is a member of the Investment Committee and an ex-officio member of the Citizens’ Finance Advisory Commission (CFAC).  Both the Investment Committee and the CFAC meet on a quarterly basis but additional meetings may be held as needed. A background in finance is preferred.

This position pays $100 per month.  No other benefits are provided.

For proper consideration, you must be a resident of the City of Indio and be eligible to vote.
