Household Hazardous Waste Collection 2017

It is illegal to dispose of toxic and hazardous waste down toilets, sinks, storm drains or by drumping into the ground. Household hazardous waste seeps into our groundwater and waterways which can lead to contaminated drinking water and pollute our environment. Proper disposal helps ensure safety for you, your family and our overall community.

The City of Indio, in partnership with Riverside County Department of Waster Resources, provides FREE hazardous and toxic waste drop off events throughout the year. So, please make sure to Box It and Bring it to one of the local events this year.
