The Requa Sewer Project is the installation of a four-mile gravity flow sewer pipeline and related utility improvements from central Indio to VSD’s Water Reclamation Facility. Construction began in June 2016 at VSD’s treatment facility and will end in September 2017 at the intersection of Madison Street and Highway 111.  The cost of the project is $15 million and will add capacity for the future commercial growth and development of the City of Indio along the Highway 111 corridor.
